It is only ten minutes drive from the junctions of the A68, A695 and A69. Take the signs into Riding Mill village. Continue through the village, past the Wellington pub and up the hill past the speed camera (slowly!). At the end of the village take the left turn up a steep hill signposted 'Shepherds Dene and Slaley'. We are about one mile along this road on the left.
